The Devils

This peice was not meant for 1971. This peice was meant for now. Everything about this film is amazing. It is a masterpeice of cinema. Every scene had some underlying commenarty or hidden interpretation witing to be discovered. I want a hard copy of this film.

The elephant in the film, "The Rape of Christ" I did not see it that way. It was a scene of sadness and greif for innocence lost. Lost possibliites. Divine grief. It was debauchery laid out in its finest form. I wasn't aroused or mortified by the scenes. I was heart broken. The fall of the wild party. The face of the mad god made clear. I was impressed.

But I also know that this film would not have survived the 1900s. That was very clear from the opening scene! I'm very happy this hidden masterpeice was laid into a vualt to age like wine for the audience that would hold it up, not burn it.

Many thanks to Warner Brothers for releasing this. You did do that right thing in 71. But you also did the right thing to release it in 2026! I hope it made you the $$ back. (I also hope the right poeple got thier share too. Don't be dickheads.)

In any case,  Thank you. And...
